So Verizon was not so busy that they could not issue an update to 2.2.2 for the OG droid. Would rather those people be working on LTE than an inconsequential update!

What do you guys think the chances of having a 1 year contact available? And at what price, assuming the $250 price point for the 2 year contract.

Based on the phones currently for sale, it looks like the difference can be as little as only $30, but I remember seeing it around $70 higher for a newly released smartphone.

I have a feeling they have to give us 4g for unlimited at first because they just do not have enough coverage. I mean I know they have a sim but can you imagine the headache Verizon would face if they charged for it where people didn't have it for a guarantee late 2012?? i would be livid because if I wanted a rocking phone but had no 4g for years I am not going to pay and why should I (Theoretical here not me)? Now they might offer like 3g only unlimited for 30 and unlimited 3g and 4g for 40? I would go for it but not a penny more!

I was part of the Dinc mess. I was at the VZW corp store @ 9:00am and they were sold out already. I had to wait 4 loooong agonizing weeks for it to come in. It was worth it once I got it.

but yet somehow no froyo for the fascinate yet...

This is what is keeping me away from Samsung phones for the time being. I love Samsung electronics, they are usually one of the best at just about everything they make, but I've heard they really have issues with phone updates.

They may need to use us as testers to see what phone LTE usage will be. They probably have no idea what average usage will be. If they set a 5Gig cap and 80% of TB users exceed that and those 80% recieve monster bills there will be people with pitch forks at thier stores for real.
