Ok, after just reading Bennnn's post, I would bet anything it's not coming next week. I am officially done with this phone. I set a date and if it wasn't out by the 17th I was leaving Verizon and going back to AT&T. I am tired of waiting on this phone to be honest. Verizon is turning into the laughing stock of the industry because of this mess. They just had to have the iphone which flopped and now they are kinda screwed. Oh well, this phone may have saved them....If they would have released it by this week at the latest. 2 more weeks, no way!!

I'm 100% ready for a 24th release myself, but my point has less to do with the actual date and more to do with BGR's source of information being completely useless, no different than if BGR's sources reported an April 21st release date (we know that's not going to happen). They haven't even looked on Twitter or here on AC for the date of the 17th, yet they will give credibility to a fake Facebook page.
The 21st may very well happen to be the launch date, but we can't obtain that from what BGR posted just one hour ago.
Hahaha ok that's outlandish. What in heaven's name did Ben say that made you think that. Take a deep breath.

Good call on BGR...very unreliable reports, very unreliable sources. I refuse to go to it when it pops up on a google search.
The 17th is indeed the day (at least for me). It is one week away. After the fiasco three weeks ago I made up my mind. March 17th! After that the Bolt is sort of dead to me (unless I find nothing better between it's release and June 4 (contract up

Of course if it was going to be later than the 17th I wouldn't have been upset if Verizon would have said something so I do not have to read each and every line on this site to get "some" idea (it is fun in a very twisted sort of way)! I would even be OK if between now and next thursday they just give us a date, ANY DATE!
Anyway....there is my twisted logic for the day... Don't know if anyone agrees or not, but there it is!

But they really aren't. As has been stated repeatedly, this is exactly why no hard release date has been given. They've not missed any dead lines as far as any one other than us enthusiasts know.
While I do agree that it's been handled poorly overall, Verizon can't be blamed for delaying the phone from a non-existent release date. I'm also quite sure they won't be shedding any tears over the loss of your business.

You know what I just realized? Since the announcement of this phone, there literally hasn't been any good news. "It's coming soon" doesn't count.

I don't get it. The TBolt will be the first LTE phone released by VZW. You would rather wait weeks or months for the Bionic to be released instead?

I think it is pretty clear to most people that The statement "Verizon did not "officially" release a launch date" is just not gonna pass the "smell test" for the vast majority of people.
I also suspect that when the phone does decide to drop it better be perfect or it is going to be connected with WaterWorld, Euro Disney, and the Ford Pinto".
