Jay another question. someone I know at best buy said the reason the new circular wont have the Tbolt in it is because the phone add was only to run for 2 weeks. I know its possible but have you heard anything. Some of my less knowledgeable friends are trying to prove that it means the phone is delayed again.

its what i thought was going on with the pre-order notification confirmations
BestBuy is merely doing there stock counts and preparing for the launch
Back when I worked for CC, corporate did the same thing when you reserved a game, the confirmation email was usually a week or a few days from the release (WHICH was when the Distribution wearehouses got there allotments for the release to all the other stores in the company, only drop shipments were direct and undetermined quantities, they arrived a week before the launch all the time, or earlier.
So that tells me that BestBuy must be getting there allotment very soon, as early as Wednesday if they are shipped today
Maybe Bennnnn is busy getting the shipments paper work all figured out

How does advertising with BBY Mobile work? Do the carriers pay for the ad space or the phone makers? Because if HTC is paying for the ad space (I've noticed an increasing amount of HTC Thunderbolt Ads on websites) that could explain why they were (supposedly) unhappy with Verizon over the delays. More speculation, but my two cents. Take it with a grain of salt. The Thunderbucket's coming SOON....
I so want to believe that this is a good sign, but with the sordid past this phone has had, it seems too good to be true...

Best Buy Mobile just tweeted in response to someone's question that they still don't have a release date and that the notifications are going out because they have some kind of new system.
I kind of like that we haven't heard from Bennnnn in a while. Makes me think that when we do finally hear from him again, he will hit us with some really good news. Y'know, the calm before the storm...
Or he won't be back to answer anymore questions until the announcement *cough* monday *cough* or tuesday *cough*
or they want to check to see who still wants one and who has bought something else already
