i remember a technology based tv show in the discovery channel called "the next step". it was from the 90s (there was also Beyond 2000) and talk about things like Palm Pilots and when we can expect a color screen cell phone. i wonder what they would do if i could time travel and show them modern consumer technology like the HTC THUNDERBOLT! i wonder if they would believe me.

Anyways, I went into BB mobile today and checked out the Inspire to get a better feel for Sense 2.0 and let me tell you it's smooth. It'll be smoother on the Bolt, Sense blows away everything except maybe custom roms or stock, but for the average user (I'm definitely not average by any means) or even the techy Sense 2.0 is insanely nice. I can't wait for the BOLT!

To be fair, this thread never had a concise topic. Over the past few weeks everyone kind of threw their thoughts and revelations into it and it was a lot of fun (Cory even mentioned a few 100 pages back that he wouldn't close the thread because we were all having so much fun and kind of needed a space to compile everything and support one another). Ultimately, this was the most memorable launch I have ever experienced! Thanks for that guys!

Agreed. Honestly from a "stick to the topic" perspective as far as Bennnnn is concerned, there is nothing left to say except thanks Bennnnn (and BMX). Might as well just retitle this thread as the "Thunderbolt Lounge", leave it as a sticky, and say "que sera sera"...

I would prefer that as opposed to creating a million threads to go through, and/or create to ask simple questions about the Thunderbolt, throw out ideas about the phone, new accessories, etc. I have thoroughly enjoyed the meanderings of this thread and it has firmly established a strong Thunderbolt community here at AC and yielded several new members (including myself). To close this epic thread at this juncture for our inability to stay on topic would be a shame. Especially considering that only about 10% of the thread is off topic and speculation to begin with.

In the future whenever I look forward to the launch of new android devices, I will always remember the HTC Thunderbolt and specifically this thread.

My two cents.

Amen to that man, this thread will forever be remembered in my mind as the first thread I was really involved in. The bolt along with all of you seriously got me into being a member of this site and this community. I was involved with android before but not in the forums. So this is my thank you to everyone on this thread and a huge thank you to BMX & Ben for all of the information leading up to this release.

I don't see the big thing about Netflix, but then again I rarely view movies on my phone since I have an archos 70 tab. The next thing I'm looking forward to is Skype video chatting which is said to be really close
