also, UD 2.3 should be released sometime tomorrow with a couple of new updates. he is skipping 2.2 in the numbering in order to avoid confusion with Froyo 2.2. i will make sure to get the link up as soon as it's out there!

for the most part they are allowed but things seems to sneak in over there that shouldn't. For one, the "ONE APK THAT I HATE TO SEE A LINK TO HAHA" (I hope you all know what one that is) is always posted there. They have a big forum so it is hard to keep an eye on everything that is posted.

Why would that matter when Gingerbread 2.3 is coming soon? If UD is first that makes it okay?

i am lost on that one... i was talking about UltimateDroid 2.3 coming soon, not Gingerbread. as you can see UD 2.3 has already been released, i put a new thread up this morning. BlackDroid (the maker of UltimateDroid) skipped 2.2 in his numbering (2.0.0 -> 2.1.0 -> 2.3.0) to avoid confusion with Froyo 2.2. I assume he will be on version 2.4+ by the time Gingerbread 2.3 comes out, so it will not cause the same mix ups.
