yay! managed to restore my ability to block calls from the recents list, sort of. still have to click details, blah, blah, blah, but at least my work yesterday didn't go unrewarded.
Using the rear fps when making a Samsung Pay purchase was quite cumbersome.
The battery life is better than people have indicated. Just woke up and realized that I didn't put my phone on the charger You the night. From yesterday at 7am to almost 4am this morning I'm at 35% and I made phone calls, text messages, emails, watched YouTube videos, played Real Racing 3, took pictures and videos, and surfed the web. I also have my Note 8 set to maximum performance. I am very happy with the battery life. I don't care that the battery is 3300 mah. It seems to work well for me.
This is the best thread there is! Everyone is awesome!

That's a really good tip. I just tried it. I'm not sure when I would use it, but it's nice to know that the feature exists.I was goofing around in my texts and had keyboard up and was texting friend. I long pressed word with my finger and it magnified the word for me. And I did it again and I was able to move the word to another part of text. Definitely new to me. Never noticed this on note 5. Course I always use magnifier with spen

Here's a caveat about enabling developer options (by clicking your build number a million times). It has a strange effect on the apps screen. It no longer shows the options balloon when you press on an app which allows you to do things like remove the app, remove a group, move to home screen and other things. I was scratching my head trying to figure out what had happened. I thought it was the new theme that I applied that might have caused it .... nope. I thought it was some things that I had disabled on the BK 2 Disabler that may have caused it .... nope. By shear luck I clicked on my Developer Options in settings and noticed a toggle switch on the top right. It was turned on. I then switched it OFF. Lo and behold I got those app bubble options back by doing that. Just an FYI.
