This don't go for just the note9 but I thought I would throw it in here lol. Anyways, the Google search widget can be customized now. You can change ths color, transparency, shape, Google symbol etc. Just go to your Google settings and look for customize widget. Here is a pic of mine. I changed color and shape. Changed it to yellow to go with theme.

Hey @Jewels81, have you tried, "Call Recorder - SKVALEX"? I've used it since I got the Nougat update. The one I'd used for years before that only recorded one side of the conversation after Nougat. This one has worked flawlessly since. (I also paid for the pro/unlock version.)

I've discovered Goodlock because of a post here from ZOMMBIE1. It's the Samsung version found on the Galaxy App store. Adds several custom options that I really like. See thread here:

If I'm not wrong this is already the case. Whenever you pop out your S Pen, a little icon is added to the status bar and shows the battery level (though there is no%, just the icon being more or less filled according to battery status of the pen) and as for the battery alert, I may have seen once a reminder to put the pen back in its hole...

I noticed in the notifications you can choose the spen remote, then details, to see what you have active on bluetooth.

This might have already been a feature on another phone but I found that you can set up a gesture to open the notification panel and Samsung pay using the fps. Swipe up for Samsung pay and swipe down for the notification panel. Twice down to open the panel all the way.
The option is under advance features and it says finger sensor gestures.

Boldbeast call recorder is also good but it does need to be unlocked for full recording. HOWEVER it does not record VOIP calls (i.e. wifi calling through Verizon in my case). It's rare I have to use wifi calling but I did encounter it over the weekend hence how I discovered it doesn't record wifi calls.

Thank you. Interesting, I haven't needed to use WiFi calling in a number of years because VZW's service is so bad where I live I had to get a Network extender. I have no idea if the recorder I'm using now works on those calls.

I also have a network extender and can confirm Boldbeast does record those calls. I was at my Dad's and Verizon was bad enough it defaulted my calls to his wifi instead, which is where Boldbeast failed to record. It did give me a message about it though.

The feature where you press the s pen button to take a picture excites me. I find it much easier to take a selfie with the rear camera doing that. While fiddling with that, I accidently discovered it works while recording video! That's really cool. Tap the button and you get a picture while the video continues to record.

I was wondering if it would pause the recording so I thought I'd try it. Took a picture instead.

I like to video my kids games. I think having the pen in hand to take a picture in the middle of it will give me a new option to get pictures I other wise wouldn't.

As this is my first ever Note series phone I've discovered the S-Pen !

You're very very fortunate. This is the best time (to date) in the history of mankind to discover the S Pen.

Pinterest doesn't seem to allow access to multiple accounts through their app without logging in and out as you switch between them. Enter the secure folder. Add the Pinterest app in there and you can have one account there and one in your non secure space.

I haven't tried this with other apps, but it's sure convenient with Pinterest.
