Went into my Best Buy just now and they had a big sheet taking "appointments" for pickup/activation tomorrow. He had all the Note 7's in a locked up drawer and pulled my box out so he could write my appointment time on it. See you at 11 tomorrow morning Note 7!

Okay so it seems that people who preordered in California are not getting the emails to go and pick it up.

I'm in California and got the email at 9:33 this morning.

Preordered online 8/3, I was able to switch the Fit2 for the 256GB card. They had to call it in and get some sort of code to make the switch. But I was in and out in 15mins.

Same here. I went to the store, they didn't have it. Told me to wait for my email, might get it in a couple of days, but she had no clue. Called all my local ATT nothing but silver. Boo

My Best buy only received Sprint notes today. They did say they would be drop shipped throughout the day though. But this is the kind of stuff that will make people lose confidence in you and stick with carriers for preorders. Getting the device on time is way better than getting memory card or watch up front.

Just came back from my local AT&T Store.... was able to get the black one that I wanted.... also stopped in the Best Buy store that I was supposed to pick up my online order at and they said "online is messed up"...they only had silver..I was told that I could cancel my online order and purchase one. I forgot to take the free watch so I will be going back there to return it....my order status still says "waiting for authorization" like some others on AC.
