Thinking of Waiting

I think I may wait until December to get a new phone, so I can pay this one off and wait for the trade-in deals Verizon offers. I'm thinking of waiting mainly because the Pixel XL 2 looks good, the V30 looks good and the Galaxy Note 8 looks amazing. Anyone have any idea what they may do for this Holiday season? Any other phones that will be coming out this fall? Should I wait for a better deal that way? Thanks

The Pixel and the Note are probably the last expected Android devices left to launch.

There are usually 2 periods of good deals for phones launched in the fall.
The immediate launch (LG usually offers free accessories, Samsung free VR or tablet, etc.) or around Christmas ( Black Friday, But 1 Get 1 Free for gift, etc.)
Even the iPhone had deals last Christmas.
I think the offers will be great this year both at launch and Christmas because of the heavy investment they all have in this year's new phones.
Waiting will also allow for reviews and real world issues to come up and play out before you purchase.
