This awesome phone is in my hands. Any questions?

I have the Inc & plan to buy the Inc2 - for myself this time - when the off-contract retail price drops. After setting up the Inc2 for a family member, the Inc just isn't as fun. The 4" screen vs. 3.7" really makes a difference. I'll bet the Inc2 gets an OS upgrade before my Inc does, too.

Besides, I'd like to have an otherwise excellent global-ready phone in the drawer should I upgrade to something else later.

I felt the same way. After using the inc 2 and then picking up my dinc 1, it didn't feel the same at all (meaning the same "love" I used to have for the dinc 1).

BTW, I doubt the off contract retail price will drop. It's already at $439.99 instead of the usual $599.99

We always hear about the processors being upgraded and more memory but we never hear about the difference in cameras that come with the phones. Does the Incredible 2 have the same camera that is on the original Incredible? Any updates in the software that will make the camera work better? Who makes the hardware? How does it compare to other phones?

Can someone post some specs on the cameras and video recorders. These specs along the the camera and video specs can also steer people to specific phones.

Thanks!

A friend of mine told me that the Inc 2 (as well as the thunderbolt) have an all new sensor in the cameras. Most likely true, seeing as the pictures that come from the camera blow away the original.

Do a Google Maps Navigation battery test please!

I need someone to do a Google Maps Navigation battery usage test please!

I have an original Moto DROID that is long in the tooth.

I hear the HTC big 4G will not keep up the battery charge while navigating. My DROID stays at full charge while plugged into a car charger type slot. And if the battery is not full it will bring it up while navigating. I have a Belkin Mini Cig-lighter USB adapter to charge with.

Will one of your guys with a car cord or hot cradle please navigate and let us know if the battery level drops or stays up.

Well, the reduced price is a supposedly some sort of consolation for having killed the 1-year contract deal. And, prices usually drop as phones get older. I'm in no rush.

I expect to see future phones offered at lower prices, too -- or, at least, that's what the bloggers have lead me to believe. We'll see what prices are set at when the next phones drop. hehe
