This Phone Is Awesome!

Proof that you can't follow what you see and hear online without experiencing it yourself. I almost let the negative commentary persuade me to skip this device. Glad I didn't.

Always keep in mind, that its usually the negative stuff that gets the most attention. If you went by most forums, no one would want to get any phone. Even the Pixel 6 with all its problems. I'd bet the majority are very happy with it despite all the doom and gloom on forum threads.

I'm well aware. I've been on this forum long enough to know. What I should've stated is that I almost let the negative comments influence my decision to skip this device because I was getting impatient of waiting for it. Impatience can be a deal breaker I suppose, lol

So I am a bit of a Samsung phone *****. Last year I ran thru each S21 and settled on thr smaller S21. This year I was rocking the S22+ since release and then I started looking at the Ultra/Note 22. I don't use the S pen often and I chose the S22+ because I was afraid of the size of the Ultra. I have the Ultra since Thursday and I will say that this is the phone I should have purchased at release. Phone is still learning my usage but I feel like this phone just feels good with its size and weight and it is very easy to 2 hand text. Mostly I like the size because my vision is blurring when reading small text. The ultra I can read the screen better because of its size.

That's so great that you are loving your Ultra, and that you took the time and made the effort to find the model and size that worked for you!

Yes. It. Is.

I'm all Apple and Samsung...

Unless we get Huawei back in NA. LOL

I must say i really really like this phone.
The battery is alot better than on my S21 Ultra. It holds itself better,it looks better and its quite a bit thinner. Plus it doesn't have that massive camera bump, it sits flat on my wireless charger
It looks fantastic.
Plus the cell service so far is alot better maybe that explains the better battery life.

So you came from an S21 Ultra to the 22 Ultra? Me and my husband are trying to decide what to do cuz we can get a 22 Ultra with trade in for 379 plus $100 accessory credit. And I had read the battery wasn't as good but it's the same size. Is there anything you liked better on the S21 or is this one just as good maybe even a little better cause of specs. Husband was worried about camera he was hoping the camera was better or at least the same not any worse I guess. One camera review liked the 21 better. We're going to look at one tomorrow at Best Buy.

I know right? You can do some cool things with the S-Pen. I really like being able to take pictures with it.

That's one reason I would like to upgrade is for that feature even though I've never been a note fan. Did have the Note 8 for a bit and it was too big but I use popsocket now which I didn't before so I may be okay with the 22 ultra. And I got the free s pen with my 21 Ultra using accessory credit and I hardly use it but if it's built inside I might use it a little more. I suck at selfies hard to hold phone up then push the button and I hate saying cheese it capture lol. Just not sure it's use the pen a lot

This phone is awesome. To me its better than anything I've had in the past and I've daggone-near formed that emotional bond with my S22Us. Plural. I bought my first in March, then I replaced my iPhone 13 Pro Max with one a couple weeks ago...that's 2 and on Wednesday I selected one from my office for work. So...3. ...The Unholy Trinity. My first is rocking Nova Prime. My 2nd is kicking Niagara launcher and my work one is rocking One UI. 3 completely differently configured S22Us but all offer access to the SPen have access to my Samsung Notes. I'll likely trade one of mine in towards a Fold⁴ when the time comes but for now its all good.

Was really considering a 1+ 9P or 10P as a secondary device but then I wouldn't have access 5G (AT&T), the S Pen, Samsung Notes, water and dust resistance, and arguably better cameras. If I had more confidence in the Fold³, that'd have been nice. Anywho....

I received my SopiGuard skins and I have dBrands on the way. I threw one on quickly but not sure I'll keep that one one.

Beautiful phones! Congratulations! I love that you called them a "trinity"!
