Thoughts on the Note 10 and Note 10+ now that everything has been laid out?

I always keep my phone in my front trouser pocket. The S9 phone in my trouser front pocket is already at capacity. How would the larger Note 10 fit for me???? Getting ridiculous.

The Note 10 has a display size of 6.3 inches. That said, it lacks the bezels of the S9, but will still be noticeably larger.

I`m kinda disappointed to be honest. I was expecting better cameras, but cameras are still the same comparing to S10+ despite rumors of having triple variable aperture. Also no rumored IP69 and no rumored sound on display and on top of that they removed heart rate sensor and headphone jack. What the hell Samsung?

You can’t trust all the supposed ‘leaks’. TBH, I’d prefer it if these phones weren’t leaked so it would be a genuine surprise. We’d get to enjoy examining the new phone more...instead thanks to these attention-seeking leakers, we already know nearly everything about the phone + a few false high hopes so we’re disappointed.

I don’t like the fact that they removed the HR sensor and jack (and micro SD on the Note 10). It’s a shame there’s no triple aperture or 64MP camera, but I was sceptical they were going to include those features...they just didn’t have enough time to cram in all these new features in a phone released a few months after the S10. Not too sure about the sharper corners though.

Seriously, it’s already an all screen design. Sound on display’s audio quality isn’t great and frankly won’t save any (noticeable) space. What’s wrong with a normal earpiece? And above all, who needs IP69? IP68 already suits the vast majority of consumers’s needs. A phone that will survive spilt water, heavy rain/snow and even a splash at the pool is more than enough.

The Note has never been vastly different from its Galaxy S counterpart (apart from the S pen and minor iterative improvements in performance). Why are we expecting something radically different? Remember, most big improvements and changes take place in the Galaxy S phones, not the Note.

Still, the (minor) camera, performance/battery and design improvements are welcome. The Exynos 9825 and new features like Zoom in mic/advanced video editing as well as the S pen gestures seem pretty cool.

I do expect to see a 48-64MP triple aperture camera on the Galaxy S11 though.

We are Note veterans. A little change in button organization won't slow us down lol.

Right!? Seems like everyone is freaking out about how big the 10+ is. It's like the same damn size as the 8 and 9. Now this midget one shows up and the real note is huge. Smh

Lmao ikr. Can please everyone😆😒

The bigger the better as far as I'm concerned as long as I can hold it with one hand. I don't care if I use two hands to navigate the device.

For me that saying of once you go big you can't go back is true lol.

Then you’ll have no problem using these phones? Lol when I saw the first picture I laughed so much XD

One thing that still disappoints me, is the fact that Samsung is pushing the curve displays, but keep taking away uses and apps for the curved displays. I was really hoping to see some new uses and purposes for the edges again.

Overall, I like these devices, specifically the 10+, coming from a Note8. Depending on the direction of the next Note, if they dont kill it off, I may skip it again and hold on to this one for another 2 years.

If I had to compare it to other specs, then I'd say it is already behind, and lacking other devices. The launch of the Note10/+ left a lot to be desired. There used to be so much more Wow factor with the Notes. That's what made me move to the Note7, but ultimately made me settle for the S7E, and finally grab the Note8. But because of the slow developments of the Note line after the Note7, I purposely didn't get the Note9.

I'm not that impressed. Rather than give more useful improvements, I think Samsung just gave us a lot of gimmicks.

Literally the only purpose for the curve was to make bigger screen devices more narrow. A screen the size of the 10+ would not be possible on a non-curved screen because it would be too wide. Samsung tried to tack on software features to it after the fact, but very few people use them.

I know...you can’t hold the second one with one hand but you can with the first lol

I really wanted the regular Note10 for the smaller size but there are too many features in the 10+ that I had to go with it. I really liked the S10 size compared to S10+ and really wasn't losing much with going smaller. Really wish that was the case with the Note 10.
