Yep another thing Samsung dropped the ball on.
Marketing is all about making sales. I expect companies to change their product and ploy from time to time even if it seems disingenuous. Are you serious?! Samsung removed all their stupid ads that made fun of for the very same things they’re doing so obviously they feel stupid now for even making those ads. Perhaps they shouldn’t have been making fun of if they were going to do the exact same thing. Don’t tell me they didn’t know at the time because the note 10 was definitely in development when they put out those ads.
I was only able to pre order the 512gb version of the note 10 plus in aura black. It would not let me select any other color variation in the 512gb version. Anyone else have this issue?
I think they are trying to curve back orders IMO. From the looks of it, most are going for the blue 256. Good sign the black 512 will be good to goYes, same issue with the 512GB on AT&T. I think they're limiting the 512GB to the Black color only. Doesn't make sense to me. I was hoping to get the blue one, myself.
Went to an official Samsung store as well and played with it some time in the store. It was all wired down with locks and all, but I was able to pick it up to get a feel how insanely light it felt. Personally I think that’s a good thing, especially when I’m reading a book in bed.
The phone itself felt really steady in one hand and I didn’t had the feeling that it was too big. (+ version) I do however think that I made a wrong choice about the color, because the rainbow color glass version was indeed very VERY dirty of al the fingers touching the glass.
Thinking about the Note 10+. Still have OnePlus 7 Pro on my radar as well. Definitely want to upgrade before my vacation later this month lol.
But they included an Exynos 9825 which is new. And since only the US gets the Snapdragon, everyone else benefits from the new chip
And Samsung’s been the sole big Android manufacturer to keep the jack on their flagship phones for quite a while...so that in itself is an achievement. While they removed the jack they increased the battery size and included new features like PowerShare (the S Pen also takes up quite a bit of space). Apple just removed the jack because they could...the battery performance of the iPhone 7 remained mediocre.
I'm an S Pen fan. 95 % of the time I'm using the phone it's in my hand. I'm very pleased with the new S Pen functionality. I do a lot of reading on my Note phones .I appreciate the efforts Samsung have put in to it to improve it. Samsung have made a lot of little changes compared to the Note 9. I expect I'll like the Note 10 Plus a lot.
Well said. I too am a huge S Pen fan. I've had every Note from 1 to 9 including Note 8 tab and Note 10.1 Tab. I just wish Samsung would have added more than gimmicks to keep them in the game. ROG has 120Hz refresh rate so AT LEAST give us 90Hz. Mate 30 Pro has 10x optical zoom so AT LEAST give us 5x and Xiaomi is coming up with 64 and 108 megapixel cameras. C'mon Samsung. Anyway, just like you I think I'll be happy with the 10+.

I have a note 9, and will get the note 10+ as well, but I'm gonna do like I did last year and wait until the Christmas season discountsI'm getting the Note 10+, upgrading from the Note 9. I love the way it feels in my hand, and I love the new "gimmicky" features, and the new camera/pen capabilities. Pair it with my Moment lenses, it will be a beast. I don't jump between brands nor between lines. I like the Note for the pen. Although my Note 9 is still slamming, I'm getting the 10+ because I can.
Samsung hasn't lost me yet. They are also getting my money for the Tab S6, and eventually the Watch Active 2.![]()

Ditto! Minus the Note 8 part. My backup is a Note 4That was my plan, but I jumped on the pre-order bandwagon because of the incentives. $600 trade in for the N9 + $200 in free Samsung "cash". I can't get that for my N9. I have a N8 as a backup. All told, I'm walking away paying a little under $500 for the N10+ along with buds, a case, and a juice box; and I should have it hand in under 2 weeks. Do the holiday discounts measure up? Honest question, I always buy on release day.
