I was at my local Microsoft store and they have a razor on display. Looks and feels very nice!

Like a lot of phones once the excitement of the new phone wears off you start to see glaring issues. What if any issues would you say are present in the razor phone.

I've seen it as its sold in the UK on the three network....

.. I have a couple of concerns, but they might not be a factor for others.

1) building a phone is hard.. well thats the easy part.. but building a phone, and supporting the hardware, and producing updates, and committing to get them out to people for a couple of years isn't easy. Especially if this is your first handset and you're learning as you go (see Nextbit, Essential, Wileyfox etc...) I'm not sure how long this is going to be supported.

2) whilst the gaming performance is scoring well... the reviews have been disappointed by the camera performance.

3) I'm really not a phone gamer... so i'm not the target audience.

But i'd be really interested in anyones opinion. Especially if they've spent some quality time together.

It might be that I am drawn to new companies. I have the essential phone, and absolutely love this phone. I was an early adopter and have stuck with it since release. They have been solid on adressing issues and when google drops the update every month essential has it in the next couple days.

For myself personally I don't care about the camera in a phone. Never have and frankly never will care about that. For those moments that I really want to remember I have a real camera that destroys the best of the best phone cameras.

Seeing as Razer has established it's self with it's computers, they also unveiled project Linda. Which looks really interesting, the new companies are trying to make change. Literally every phone that comes out is just the same thing with a new processor and more RAM and a slightly better camera sensor.

Cool... Enjoy your new shiny phone and don't let me rain on your parade.

There is no such thing as a perfect phone, it's all about trading things off against each other.. and it's not a one size fits all approach.

Even if I seemed dismissive, I too want razor to succeed... If they bring innovation to android, every android user benefits.

Its not the right phone for me.... But thats the point.

What do you use yours for?

getting mine tomorrow hopefully.

from reviews, it spretty solid for it's target audience. need something fast and lasts.
