Thunderbolt - Best Buy Availability/Pricing/Ordering Discussion

Adding towers to existing markets. And I don't see how it would be a logistical nightmare. Verizon knows where they are doing build out and on what schedule. I think it'd be totally reasonable that they may divert shipments to locations that have 4G service.

I suppose, but in the end the TB doesn't require 4G to function. I doubt they would punish possible upgraders or pass up new two year contracts from customers who live in areas not covered by 4G yet.

Should be interesting. Maybe go there tomorrow, get denied and complain that I called everyday and was lied to. See where that goes.
something is not right to me, because if your store is selling it tomorrow and the two other stores, dont know when its going on sell, that can only lead me to believe that these guys are as clueless as we are

Since Tbolt is listed in the BB Ad for Feb 20, I would think they must have something.

What's the point of having the product in the ad but not in stock yet (or even have data of stock). LOL
It happens quite often.
Those ads are made and even printed weeks ahead of time.

I agreed, they are printed weeks ahead. But national retailer like Best Buy, i would think is a big deal.

My other point is they must have had confirmation from Verizon Wireless at some point that they will have phone by then? Otherwise why would they print it?

at this point with At&t and tmobile launching "4g" devices next week, it wold be foolish for them not to.

The ad for next week confirmed:

This was provided by the same guy that got the new BB inventory screenshot that made waves last night/early today

It's already foolish. If the date IS the 21st or 24th (I have my doubts about both) then they could have taken the wind out of this announcement by AT&T by making their OWN announcement today, yesterday, Monday. They wanted a big *&^%$ secret and they got it. I hope it bites them in the @$$

Can you host this somewhere else? Work blocks photobucket... something like Picasa Web Albums or something. Or just email it to me ;)

I took the photo from the guy who posted it from AndroidForums. It's from his ImageShack account.

It's the same image we saw leaked for the FEB 20 ad.

My question about it is if it's for Feb 20th ,why wouldn't it have a date that says the release day on it. Because I would take it for Sunday release when I see this.

Agreed, they are being flat out morons about this whole launch.. If they do not give an official release date by tomorrow I am going to be beyond baffled by any logic they have (already am) but even more so now that at&t pushed the atrix release date up to the 22nd.. Get your act together verizon..

Didn't the last image of the ad say "Coming Soon" above the phone? I'm trying to locate the old photo but can't seem to find it.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. The ad looks identical.
