hey guys lets all mellow out, im frustrated,upset,angryand pissed about the "thunderwont". lol but lets not take it out on each other. if we could we would all go to verizon corporate and slap the hell out of the ceo lol. so lets take a minute and chill because we knew the risk when we first heard delay . we are just the pawns in this chess game called life

The reason it is in the March issue is cuz Best Buy uses FISCAL MONTHS. since their ad is based from Sunday-Saturday they dont like to make their monthly ads any different and they follow the same pattern. That ad is for the month of MARCH, but it is the FISCAL month of March which started today.

I called my Local Best Buy, Irvine Ca. Let them know that I preordered the TB on the first day they were taking preorderes and now I saw the ad in the Sunday Paper, without pause, the person on the phone told me "it will be available on the 24th". Seemed confident,we'll see.

The CS personnel at my local BB were just as confident about the release date being the 26th. They were also confident about the 17th.

Mine were confident on 2/14 and then again on 2/24... but now they are saying it's March and are less confident.

Not a great sign.

my Best Buy told me in confidence the 24th and the manager said he will call me when they are in. cool thing is im number one on the list so im hanging in there

Releasing in NY Best Buy tomorrow

I called and spoke to 3 different customer service associates. I asked about the availability and release date of it and they all told me tomorrow. All of them, no joke.

But this is in a Best Buy in Westbury New York. I don't know if its the same in all stores but this is what they told me.

No, i still think there is a chance for the 24th or the 28th. We wont know for sure until we get a real confirmation from VZW. But going by fiscal months, then yes, it will be released during the fiscal month of March.

The 'fiscal' month schedule is less of a big deal for large companies like VZW and BB. It's not as though the TB will be the difference in them turning a profit in one quarter or the next.

BB does actually follow the fiscal month schedule. Regardless this is all still Q1 for another 5 weeks.

Tmw is not happening, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but i closed tonight and there were none to be found in the warehouse or store. If (getting larger by the day) the TB is coming out the 24, the phones will be in store by tmw, and we havent even got any demo's or signage. I want this just as bad as anyone else but NO one at BB knows an exact date, Idc if the Managers Manager told you, he doesn't know because its VZW that makes the call for a go-ahead
