Thunderbolt - Best Buy Availability/Pricing/Ordering Discussion

just called my local best buy an the 1800 number for best buy. both said the final price was $199 on 2 year contract an htc has given them the 14th as the release date, the latest i would recieve the phone would be 16th

When was it confirmed we are seeing an ad for the thunderbolt? If Verizon has been so lax about this phone so far why spend millions and millions on a super bowl spot that they never even did for the droid?

Hopefully I'm not bursting anybodies bubbles, but I'm thinking Best Buy will cheap out and not include the memory cards. Here's proof that showed up a few days ago (the "card not included" part). Who wants to bet that they are pulling the cards (or not installing them) and reselling them on the shelves?! Best Buy is shady, I tell you! Shady!!

If you look at the front page of androidcentral you'll see a pic of a memo referencing the ad today.

It's hit of miss.. If you are not in hurry wait for VZ. It's lot easier.

Yeah, i mjust called my local BB and they said the phone would be 249.99 and it was postponed until the 28th of february. That sucks if its true. She said the origional release date was the 14th but it has been moved back.

Well if it's preinstalled in the phone they can't really just take it out. And if they decided against including the 32GB card at all with the TBolt I'll be pretty p***ed off.

I went to my best buy at 2pm today and I was the first one to preorder a thunderbolt ay that store.

They also checked and told me that they will honor the early upgrade for the ne2.

The Best Buy near me said they would not honor my early upgrade. I have 6 months left on my contract. They also told me $199 for the phone but I didn't get the feeling that they really knew. Gonna try another BB tomorrow.

Me neither all I see is the moto ad but I have searched pages and pages on here and have not seen a mention of an advertisement and googled it lol.
