Thunderbolt update

Checked for updates and got the update notification. Downloaded and installed in less than ten minutes. Noticed new bookmarks: NY Times, CNN, AccuWeather, Facebook, Twitter, Wiki, Bing, HTC, My Verizon, and VZW Home). Clock is back in app drawer. Otherwise, all appears to be working. Even tested voice mail notifications. :)

My notification volumes are fixed! Man - I thought I was the only person in the world who noticed that!!

Didn't Get It ALL day
Then I Called Customer Service And THEY Told Me To Dial *#*#2432546#*#*
And I checked For An Update And It Worked
Started Downloading
And So Far So Good :)

Not that I mind but this update was actually forced onto my phone already. I unlocked my screen and it was downloading this afternoon. Thought that was a little odd, to have it force downloaded already.

I can't get 3G following the update. I get either 4G or only 1X if I go to CDMA only mode...which is where I normally set for battery reasons. Anybody else having data issues post update?

Disregard...after shut down, battery and sim pull and restart 3G is back.

Sent from my HTC Thunderbolt using Tapatalk

If you go to verizonwireless.com/Thunderboltsupport, it will tell you what is new in this update...

It is an update to 2.11.605.9. It mentions fixing the notification volume issues, contact ringtone issues, updated local streaming playback mechanism when network connection is not available, updated Twitter API for Peep/FriendStream,Clock app included in All App list, Improvements in Exchange ActiveSync.

I have received and downloaded the update and everything seems fine.

downloading now...

edit: update. The install went smoothly. No notable differences yet.
