Timer app sound & vibration questions.

I've noticed that when my watch is set to vibrate mode, the timer app still plays a sound through the speakers. I can't find a way to turn off that sound and only vibrate.

Also, when my phone is set to "do not disturb" my watch will also automatically set to do not disturb and I won't get any vibration or sound alerts from the timer app.

In contrast, the timer app on my Gear Sport watch (Tizen) will vibrate when the timer goes off even if the do not disturb setting is activated.

Have you tried switching to sound then back to vibrate?

You can turn off DND sync by opening the wearable app and going to watch settings>notifications>sync DND at the bottom of the screen.

Oh, thanks for that tip!

I also just discovered that on my Galaxy S21 phone I can selectively let certain apps to disregard DND (like the Galaxy Watch4 plugin and clock) which allows alarms and notifications go through to my watch. But, your suggestion seems better. Thanks.
