Not buying it yet. Based on the fact that the leaked Incredible ROM seems to have some issues, it doesn't appear that it's ready for primetime. This Froyo needs a little more freezing before it's ready to be served.

they said the incredible would be the first of the droids besides the n1 to get froyo officially but that news was dusted with the sprint evo getting possibly Monday? wow where is the love verizon? guess the saying about big business's applies with cell phone carriers too: the bigger you are as a company the slower you move...

Why would I root? I dont have the knowledge to make it work for me, the leak update has bugs that I dont want to deal with, I paid for insurance and I would hate for it to be voided because I am impatient, the leak is NOT the same version as the one that will be released....... shall I go on?

I understand why someone smarter than I am would root, but it is not for me.... especially just because I am impatient.

Rooting is relatively easy to do, but true, the leaked update has bugs and requires a separate flash of the radio and bug fixes. I've unrooted my phone, I think I'll just wait for the official OTA.

The love for Inc owners will come. Verizon is always slow to release, and I'm okay with that because Verizon does a better job of de-bugging the software before pushing the updates to us.
