50k reads does not = 50k people. A lot of the same people are reading over and over and over .... oh and then reading it again and again .... you get my drift.
In a few days, nobody will care because most will already have it.

Just to toss this out there, I installed the RUU using Windows 7. So you don't have to have XP, just be sure to install HTC Sync.

Just throwing this out there: I think Verizon has tapped into my brain and KNOWS that I am planning and ready to use aLogcat to capture the update.zip URL and therefor is purposefully not pushing it OTA to my phone.

Has anyone here who got the update noticed whether or not uploading videos is any easier? I just tried to upload one to YouTube and I had to hit retry for every single percentage it went up.

I really wish people would stop posting their location because it does not matter where you are, how you pay your bill, weather you are paid up or not, when you ordered your device, weather you are on 3G or wifi, how long you've had it, or any of that stuff. If any of that were true I would have had it by now as I pre-ordered it the second day you could and got it the day before launch. It is run by IEME number and is completely RANDOM!
Yes we all know about the leaked RUU, but we don't want to wipe our phones if we can help it. It's not just the non tech users, some of us techies don't want to either because we don't want to go to the trouble of seeing things up again the way we want them.
Right now the only constructive posts for this thread would be a link to the saved update file OR the original URL fished out of a log (tons of posts here on how to do either of these things); or discussion of the update itself.
If you got the update and don't have the file to share I would suggest holding off bragging about it because you are just gonna get 10 people posting a response asking why you didn't save the update file.
and as usual... pics or it didn't happen ;-)

Lol VZW does suck they charge for EVERYTHING. I wouldn't be surprised if they started charging us for voicemail
