Its an OTA update... it is supposed to take days to roll out. Nobody who has a clue is expecting this to happen overnight.

Especially when you consider that I haven't heard anyone who did get it say anything about how hard it was to install, or that the download failed, etc. I mean, most of you are probably too young to remember what it was like to upgrade from Windows 3.11 to Windows 95. And installing Linux in the early days ... fugedaboutit!

I'd say the only problem Verizon has is managing the expectations of its customers. I haven't gotten it yet, but I see no indication that anything is going on but the OTA rolling out exactly as they said it would ... randomly to selected handsets, with no specific ETA promised, to be completed within a week or so.

Oh, yeah, the other problem Verizon has is not picking ME to be the first to receive the OTA, since I am so special. <roll eyes/>

Yeah but they got punched nicely . I would say tho if anyone one gets the update and post they got the update,, and doesnt post the "update.zip" they might be meet with mob vengeance lol . I think people have calmed down some but it may flare up again . I'm too mellow to let it bother me for real tho on a update , lol , but I do want it .

I'm with you on that one. Though I want the update, I'm not going to get worked up or lose sleep over not getting it because I know that it will come to all phones. Knowing my luck, I'll be one of the last but if that happens within the week, then great.

With all the leaks out that, I am surprised that the update.zip isn't out there yet but it will be eventually or I'll get the OTA before than.
