Doesn't matter if you are late in payments or current in your bill, though if you are due in your bill Verizon doesn't let you upgrade to a new phone but I think is not the case about getting Froyo OTA, I recall you that I stated in my early post, that I was just Kidding about.

If you notice as you read through this forum...People are so nervous ,anxious ,hostile,impatient,funny,crazy Or all of above for this update Or Froyo Ruu..I really hope when it comes everyone is in a better state of mind. I really wish I some shares in Verizon... "I see money signs"

I just spoke to VZW about a billing error and then mentioned it was nice to know the 2.2 OTA update was finally out, she said it was just pulled at 1:00pm Pacific due to another issue that needs to be fixed, that the few who did get it are experiencing to many problems to fast so they stopped the update in order to correct a few things, her thought was within a couple weeks to get it polished upi and back out, She said they will be making a announcement Monday AM in the forums and Twitter and on the website etc... So I suppose I will stop waiting for the Txt at least for now.

Personally I did a nandroid backup, then reverted to stock recovery for the OTA. I also used Titanium backup to back up my apps from when I was running the 2.2 leak. As soon as froyo hits I can reinstall them all with one click.

I don't know why anyone would want to go back to 2.1... What's your angle?

Thanks man. I still haven't decided if I want to root first and then update or update and wait for a new unrevoked, and somewhere in there I thought it'd be a good idea to make a backup

If that's true, then I'm installing the RUU. I have it downloaded just haven't installed it yet cause I didn't want to wipe the phone knowing the OTA will be on my phone within the week. But if its going to take longer, than I'll just install it.
