Hey guys come on ...I don't want to be a downer but if someone was actually dying this update really wouldn't matter Or be be so damn important. Don't let this update get the best of you. You know that you will eventually get it . I'll be the first to admit I'm impatient and I want it now too! But since I picked the official OTa way,.. It's out of my hand so I have no choice but to wait. I don't see a zipfile any where ? >>>> Do you ? .. (Yeah I know ,it sucks ! ) So Until than.... unfortunately, but we just have to wait..

I'm mainly looking for it for the maintance update , I wont do any 720 recording , I wont pay extra for the hotspot (WiFI), I will use the flashlight some . But other then that its mostly maintance stuff a few apps(news) and bloat amazon.But still not really wanting to root just for it and getting mad doesnt speed anything up at all just makes ya feel bad actually over an update its not worth it to me to get mad over .

@Ultrav: A couple of things are in it for Verizon; money so they can charge for mobile hot spot and good will showing the customers they are at the leading edge. Not sure if I agree with the good will but that is how it looks.

Hot spot feature is a nice one and works quite well. I have used it with 2 devices on the phone and the phone is still responsive and accesses data. Since it is Verizon and CDMA it all comes to a screeching halt if someone calls you. That is why I like the AT&T Nexus. But that is a different story.

FroYo will come....I am waiting myself and am disturbed but the delayed roll out. I got my Dinc a day before launch and figured I would be one of the first to get the OTA. Wrong I was. :O)

Yea, there is a lot of frustration when you feel you are being lied to. Verizon could be a lot more upfront about the process, and folks would understand and tolerate the delay better.

They are handling it poorly, especially that robot on twitter @VZWSupport "no ETA"

Two DIncs in the household and neither have got 2.2 yet. Not really worrying about and itll get here when it does. I guess Im one of the few that really doesnt care when it gets here.

So I just had an update popup for msn messenger..... All I saw was update available and I flip my lid scale a kid on the way back in to house and i set it down and look at it and I almost started crying i swear I am a wreck because of this.
