touch screen wont work?

i have a LGM500 it got water damaged from my job. ive had it in dried rice for 2 days now. it turns on perfectly fine, holds a charge perfectly fine. but my touch will not work at all. i cant even unlock my phone. I've tried everything. A valcume to suck up water, put it in the freezer for 5 mins. nothing. what should i do now?

Hello. Sometimes, even rice won't be able to save your phone. You should try and get a replacement. If you're budget conscious, I suggest the Moto G.

I am afraid to say I think the device is damaged to the point where it would have to be repaired. However, that might not be very cost effective.

Most warranties don't cover water damage, so you can't go that way. I haven't been able to find a panel for your phone, but I'll guess maybe 50 dollars USD. Could you give the full model?

I tried looking and I couldn't find one. They (the screens) may not be made any more.
