Trade-in turnaround time.

My phone went through fine as it always has. The watch, however, was rejected yesterday for not meeting requirements of being wiped/reset. Went through the full factory reset before sending so who knows. Having them send it back to me.

Did you remove your watch from the "Find my devices" list before sending it in?

This was why my Watch 3 trade in (for the Watch 4) was rejected. I am waiting for it to come back so I can remove it and then see if I can sell it. Either here on AC or FB Marketplace. :D

You have proof that you dropped it off so you should be OK but it may be a headache to resolve.

Yeah, i kept everything when sending my toys over. I know what I am about to face. I reallllllllly hate FEDEX right now.

Mine was about 4 days including a weekend... Fedex dropped it off on Friday and I got an email today at 4:00 am that it was accepted.

mine was dropped off yesterday. Still waiting to hear back. I sent a Note 20U and an Ipad PRO 11"

I traded in a phone and a watch. I traded in a galaxy watch 3 but they didnt have an option that said galaxy watch 3 so I picked the one that said galaxy watch. Today I get my email about the trade ins and the phone was fine but they said since the watch didnt match what they expected I could only get a lower trade in value, which they didn't state was. I told them to send it back to me because that made no sense they would give me a lower value for something that was newer than what they were expecting.

I would get that watch back.... You can sell it for way more than $50 .... Worth it even with the little extra work.

Galaxy Watch 3 was an option though. I almost missed it when looking through. They probably can't change it after the fact. Good idea getting it back.

Well I checked again and I still don't see it listed as a trade-in option, got shipping notification and I should have my watch back this Wednesday.

Ah thats probably why, I was doing the trade in towards the z fold 3 and they don't have the watch 3 listed for watches.

Samsung 3rd party trade in place received my note10 and z fold 2 trade in toward fold 3 on September 15th. Just got emails saying those were successful. Yay. Now I just need to send my watch 3 in that I'm trading in toward watch 4. Hopefully I don't have any issues I've been seeing other people have. Shouldn't but never know lol.

Samsung received both my Note 20 Ultra and Watch Active 2 trade-ins on 9/15. Got an email this morning that my Note 20 Ultra trade-in was accepted at full value (woohoo!). Still haven't heard anything on my Watch Active 2 though.

Seems to be issues on the watch trade in's this time around. My friend had his active 2 rejected, said that it was not the active 2, and it was the active 2. He contacted Samsung and they corrected the rejection and accepted it.

It's really strange that this is happening. I don't think it's a deliberate plot to keep get peoples money but something is terribly wrong with the process. Maybe it's something automated in the process that is going left when it's supposed to go right.

I think it's like everything else with Samsung, if the automatic system works it works fine, once the auto system screws up it goes crazy.

While my phone trade-in was accepted on the same day it was received, the trade-in for a watch (separate order) still not updated. They got both packages on the same day. They probably have more watches to go through because more people bought watches this time.

I finally got an email yesterday from Samsung. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 was regected because... it was Watch Active 2. Like for many people with Active 2 trade-in. A quick chat with Customer Service fixed the issue.
