trouble downgrading to 605.5

Hello, I am in the process of rooting my phone, but I have all the OTA updates. So, I am following the instructions on how to downgrade to 605.5 from xda. After I have moved the file to my sd card and renamed it, I hold volume/power down to get into Hboot. The instructions say that there will be scanning in the top right with vertical scroll bar, but I do not get this scanning to happen, it just dose nothing for several minutes. I then just restart my device. I have tried this several times w/o success and I have made sure to rename the file correctly. Any ideas? thanks.

I'm sure the instructions say to rename the file PG05IMG.zip

You need to be sure you have only one file with that name in the main folder of your SD card... then go into the hBoot screen... with your PC connected, right click the file and choose 'Properties' and check to see if the file is named correctly, it might have .zip.zip at the end, in that case remove one of the .zip

this is the most likely candidate for the problem.

I've had this problem once before having properly named and and placed file. I had to find another.download source for the.605.5 ruu. Somehow the download was bad.

So I went into properties and the file said "PG05IMG" ( i didnt type .zip when I renamed it). So, I just renamed it again and added ".zip" tried to go into Hboot and still nothing in the top right corner happening. ?? Should I try a different download? where would I find it? thanks

Got it to work. just redownloaded it from the link. thanks guys
