Trouble playing video from SD card on Sony Tablet S

I'm trying to copy a DVD to an SD card and watch it on my Sony Tablet S. So far i was able to convert the DVD to an H.264 file and put it onto an SD card (FAT32). The file plays back fine on my PC, but when I put the card into the tablet and select a player it plays the video back at 2x speed like it was fast-forwarding the video. Anyone know why this is happening? I've tried a couple video player apps.

I just put the .avi files on my SD card and MX Video Player automatically picks them up and I can play them fine.. I did use ES File explorer and set my home directory to /mnt.. Hope that helps.
