Trouble signing in due to unknown error after Factory reset

[Android Central Question]

I used the factory reset on my sisters phone and wanted to login using my google account, problem is once I had put all my information in It said "Unable to sign in to device due to a unknown error, please wait 24 hours" If you could help me I WOULD APPRECIATE ITTT

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? How did you do the factory reset? If you didn't do a proper factory reset from the Settings>Backup & Reset menu (which would remove your sister's Google account from the phone), but instead did it through the Recovery Menu, that would activate Factory Reset Protection. It's probably expecting your sister's Google account and password. Ask her to help you log in with her account, then properly remove her account before doing a factory reset.

Your sister phone is tied to her account , you should ask her .

Thanks for getting back to me. The phone I have is a ZTE, I did the factory reset by pressing down the power button and holding the volume up button at the same time, then once the logo shows up I let go of the power button and continue holding the volume up button~ then i'm on the screen where I'm able to factory reset. Uhh, I don't know the password or email to her account at all, pretty sure she forgot it.

Hi, welcome to AC!
Thats the reason phones have FRP (factory reset protection) if you dont know or she forgot the email and password you cant get into the phone.

No problem, maybe try contact ZTE or Google see if you could provide proof of purchase they can futher assist.
