Trying to flash a kernel HTC KERNEL 15 SBC 7

Trying to flash the above kernel on my phone using AMON RA. Im running Sprint lovers rom 3.70 update. It keeps saying "cant find update script" "installation aborted". i wiped cache and dalvik cache and of couse backed everything up. help

Ok, not sure what that file was. I got it off of this thread------>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=876590.

So instead I downloaded this file----->http://www.multiupload.com/S78JQ1L6D5 from the above link. And it worked. Now I just need to test it out.

That zip is not made for recovery. I'm sure there's a way to flash the kernel from the RUU via the bootloader. Have you checked out XDA? If it's not easy to find I"m sure I can make it for you.

no thanks, think i got it. says battery is at 100% however my battery wiget says its still charging just like how the post describes it. got it plugged it, gonna leave it for at least 30 min and try it out.

I'd stay away from the SBC kernels if I were you..
