Turning Bluetooth On and Off

I've been able to successfully pair my phone to the bluetooth in my cars, but the Incredible seems to offer no ability to switch it off. When I arrive at my destination, i have to switch off the car or hang up the call. This seems to be a pretty glaring miss on HTC's part. Either they have buried the "enable handheld" option to far down, or have forgotten it all together. Can anyone offer guidance?
Cheers

Menu-> settings--> Wireless---> Bluetooth.. ;)

I never use Bluetooth, but Beautiful Widgets has a Bluetooth widget for those who do. Check the market, there may be more free ones..

The power control widget had controls to turn on and off wireless, Bluetooth, gps, and a couple other controls. That may help you out.

And you can place a shortcut with Sense on there that looks kind of like the beautiful widgets BT widget.

if you are talking about transferring the call to your phone from the car BT audio...hit the menu button while in call. Then choose transfer to phone. Works for me.

ALL,
Thanks for the help...Justin's solution seems to work, although still not quite as seamlessly as I'm used to coming from blackberry. At any rate, I'm actually able to continue a call without hanging up...so things are looking up...
thanks again.

I use my BT speakerphone all the time. Currently using a Jabra Cruiser. I’m waiting on a Blueant Supertooth3, but With the Jabra, just turning off the power to the Jabra automatically switched me to the phone, where I can either use it as a phone or hit the speakerphone button. I also use the HTC Power widget to turn off everything unless I need it and it has worked well.

Hope this helps.

In my wife's car, shutting off the car kills the BT connection and auto transfers to phone. There is a half second delay, but she just warns the caller that there is about to be a gap. No big deal.
