Question Two bluetooth questions

I have a SGS 24 Ultra and am having 2 issues with Bluetooth and I'm not sure if it's an issue with my car or my phone. The first is when on a call I can hear the person on the other end but they can't hear me. The other issue I'm having is when I transfer the call to speakerphone or handset whatever I was listening to last starts playing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using Android Auto? If so, go to Settings>Apps, select Android Auto, then Permissions, and make sure it has Microphone permission turned on.

It's on. It also happens if I disable AA and use just Bluetooth

How old is the car? Are you able to test another phone in there for calls?

2022 Equinox. I will test it with my wife's phone, side note I noticed I also can't use the voice controls anymore either. Maybe it's my cars microphone?

If your wife's phone doesn't work, that sounds like a plausible explanation. Also check the manual to see where the mic is located, and make sure it's not blocked by anything.

Turned out to be the Bluetooth/OnStar module. The dealer had to replace it.

It was not but luckily it's a company car so it wasn't out of my pocket. I do have another odd question now though, every time my phone connects to Bluetooth it dials my voicemail and hangs up after about 6 seconds.

The cars system, same thing happens in my Jeep.

Try forgetting the phone in the car system (and the car in the phone's Bluetooth list), then try pairing again.

Unfortunately that didn't work

That did the trick, ironically enough I didn't have to remove any apps but if it happens again that'll be my next step. Thanks for your help!!
