"The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly..." is what I got after downloading an application from Amazon App Store. I couldnt force it closed and had to manually do a factory reset with the power button and bottom volume button.....

I love this phone but since last thursday this is the second time I have factory reset the phone. The first time was after only 6 hours of operation. This is a refurbished replacement that VZW sent me because my Samsung Fascinate was crap.:'(

What shall I do ? Besides call VZW and let them have it tomorrow.

I have a refurbished also and its been great so far. The only issue I have is all of a sudden my battery is draining very fast.

You should try to track down the cause of the problems you're experiencing. It wouldn't necessarily be fair to criticize the phone or Android if a buggy app installed through a 3rd party app store causes complications.

Not saying that's what caused your problems or not, but I found just getting the whole Amazon App Store installed in the first place to be such a hack in itself that I wouldn't trust IT to be bug free, much less trust anything installed through it.

I agree with the posts above, check to see if the app is buggy. It could have problems and be noted in the comments or known issues.

Uninstall the app and reboot -- see if the problem persists. Hopefully not.
