Two problems anyone else have them?

First problem is does anyone just press home button and randomly restarts the launcher with the white HTC screen, first I thought I was running low in memory so I restarted my phone but it still does that several times a day.

Second problem is when I am typing a text message it will randomly just return the inbx screen. Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this or do I have to wait for the newest update? Thanks guys.

I have never had any of those problems. It may just be the phone itself.

Hard reset. If that doesn't fix it, exchange it.

I have experienced both of those problems in a similar way, but I know the cause for mine.

The white screen I got was from a broken app. When I first got the phone I configured the news app with my work gmail which somehow broke it constantly sending it into an invalid login loop which I cannot fix. If I tap on news app it starts the loop and when I try to back out of it to my home screen it will sometimes randomly take me back to the white screen for a minute afterwords. I have been planning to find the android app and try a reinstall now that I can install 3rd party apps so thanks for reminding me of that (force stop and clear data have never worked).

When I am texting with my swype I have the irritating habit accidentally tapping the back arrow occasionally.

Never experienced these issues. I only occasionally saw the launcher restart, due to low memory sometimes.

As far as your messaging issue, find the messaging application through "manage applications", open it, select "clear data", then reboot and see if the issue persists. I suppose you could try the same thing for the launcher. I'm not sure if you'd lose any kind of data related to the launcher, but at this point, I'd be in the mindset of having nothing to lose. I'd find the constant redrawing very annoying. Anyhow, I believe it's called "HTC Sense" in "manage applications". An easy way to find it would be to download Home Manager, open it, select Sense, then hit "details".

Once in awile I'll get the white HTC logo screen, but not to where it bothers me.
As for the Inbox issue your having, I can't say- for I use GoSms. If you continue to have that problem, check into the GoSms app!

Im knocking on wood here, but it hasn't done it in about 2 days and it usually happens at elastic 4 times a day so....I don't know how it fixed itself but thanks for all the help guys.

So I had the random restart problem. I just did a factory reset. We'll see if this helps.
