Two weeks today

It’s frustrating because I want the note 20U to be my main device, but being honest, the iPhone 11 Pro Max’s battery makes it unbeatable (not including iMessage and FaceTime too).
I've been "Off Charger" since 4:00PM yesterday, that's 16H52M, granted I only had 2H50M SOT in that time, mostly camera stuff and some image renaming, archiving, etc. A bit of internet browsing, some texting - 1H56M WiFi active, 3H43M held awake BUT, I am still at 71% battery as I type this so... and I've had the phone since 8/21, so it's had some time to "adapt" to usage patterns like I spoke of earlier!

Again with chargers everywhere why worry? From portable to auto to home and office I haven't worried about my batteries in years. Now apple devices you have to worry I almost purchased a battery case for my 11 thank God the 20 came out.

I literally hate everything about the ultras and blacks body. I wanted matte. But it's.glass. Also I hate curved displays. I should of gotten the normal note 20. :/

Both optimized and adaptive power saving. I get about 5 hours of SOT. On my iPhone 11 Pro Max, I get about 10 hours on SOT w incredible stand-by time. It doesn’t drain nearly as fast as my N20U.

Totally agree. Battery is about half of the 11 Pro Max

Had my note 20 for two weeks today and absolutely zero complaints the note is going strong great device can't go wrong!!

You've created a MONSTER with this thread... started out great but - more complaints than those of us that love it!

The battery is a disgrace. My iphone 11 pro max's battery lasts twice as long. Samsung should be ashamed.
I had the iPhone 11 Pro Max too and while it lasted longer than the Note 10+ (both sold) it was nowhere near twice as long.

I wouldn't blame Samsung even though they could've easily put a bigger battery but for whatever reason THEY FEEL THAT THEY NEED TO MAKE THE THINNEST PHONES.

The problem is simple, iOS is more efficient than android.

I get approx. 10 hrs of SOT w my iPhone 11 Pro Max. There is not a Samsung that can come close to that—even the S20U.

I am at 50% battery and already 5 hour and 20 mimuite will get 10 hours before the day is over.

You get 10 hrs of SOT on your N20U??

Ok not sure why you say battery life is not as good as the iPhone, but i have to stop you there mate, I'm on my AT&T Note20 Ultra 5G 512GB and I've been getting 10hrs SOT and 9hrs and half SOT since i first preordered my Note20 Ultra and yes on 120hz always, brightness at 95% and haven't had to put the phone on a charger after 1day and 5hrs, so Definitely outstanding battery life, on my Note10 Plus i get 11hrs SOT close to 12hrs, so you probably didn't let your phone learn , Also everyone uses there phones differently, so everyone will always get different SOT.

Personally i don't have any issues with a iPhone, But i Personally will never ever buy one they are way to boring and can't even customize it like you can with any Android phone.

Yes he's definitely on 120hz, and what is iPhone on 60hz, let's see Apple with a 120hz i doubt it will not even make 8hrs SOT.

P.S. i will not ever go back to 60hz, 120hz is fantastic.
It will take little time I think for apple to get 120hz on their phones with good battery life

I got 6 hours screen on time yesterday and still had 40% left. I have a 11 pro max where I will agree the battery is better but N20U is not far behind....I am happy with the battery on my N20U
