Is Uber App a battery hog?
This has been in the news - the app is sending a ton of info back to the Uber mothership servers.

IMO much of the response is pretty hysterical. I think that people are jumping to conclusions - such as Uber selling data it gathers. But what bothers me is the Uber app is a battery hog. I opened the app this morning for a moment and it's used 3% of the battery. So I just killed it and see what will happen.
I rarely use Uber, so won't be uninstalling any time soon. When I need it, I really need it!
