I've recently moved to the G3 from a Samsung Galaxy S4. One of the reasons I hanged was cordless charging so, as you can imagine, I was somewhat disappointed to suffer the problems described above. I've tried two different charging pads with various chargers all of which refused to charge consistently. However, I noticed that if I pressed the phone down onto the pad it would start to charge. This led me to look at the connections between the battery and the back of the case. There are four very small spring contacts which press against contacts on the phone's back. Using a pin I very carefully prized the contacts up slightly, reassembled the phone and, low and behold, the phone now seems to charge satisfactorily. I've only tried this today, so I can't be sure it will provide a complete cure. I intend to try putting a small blob of solder on the case contacts to make them a bit thicker which should help.
After I've tried out this modification and given it a longer test I will let you know how I get on.

Still haven't tried the solder mod yet, but since tweaking the contacts I've had no problem recharging overnight.

I had the same problem, I tried to replace the charger with a higher amp (ipad 2.1A) one and the problem got cured instantly.

Hi, I have the same problems with the phone flashing all through the night, have put it in to silent mode.its the flashing etc. I now put a tissue box between me and the phone so it doesnt wake me up through the night Lol. any other ideas would be appreciated.

It does appear to be a power issue. I was having the same problems with my G3 and qi charging - screen kept turning on to show % charged. The supplied LG power supply at 1.8A seems to be deficient with the two Choetech Qi Stadium chargers I tried it with. I found on Amazon a 3.5A power supply with 6.5ft cord that terminates to a micro USB connector. I bought two of these and use them with the Choetech Qi Stadium chargers and no more problems - charges pretty fast with those power supplies. Can't post links yet. Just search for "Pwr+ 6.5 Ft AC Adapter 3.5A Rapid Charger" on Amazon and you'll find it.

The only other qi charging annoyance is that when charging reaches 100% the charging stops - it won't stay topped off and my phone will continue to drain unless I remove and replace it to initiate the qi charging again. On KitKat 4.4.2.

I got the LG G3 32GB Titan with latest 10g firmware and I have the same problem. I have that problem with original LG wireless charger. It starts QI charging, then stopps, then starts und very time these animation, screen-on animations in a loop.
I rebooted, cooled it down, shut it down... problem remains. Only thing: I do not use original wall charger from LG. But it was all fine just today untill the time it stopped to work properly.

It is a software issue. I found that it'll charge when you dock it with the screen on and any app running. (on the screen NOT in the background)
