Unable take screen shot in my nexus 6p after recent update, was working well before, kindly help

I am unable to use the screen shot feature on "any screen" since few days, maybe after the latest security update ? Don't know what to do , kindly help .
It was working perfectly fine for me since last 1 year .

Are you running the stock 7.1.2 OS build with the May Security updates? I use the screenshot feature all the time and it still works normally for me.

Does the Volume rocker work correctly?
Is the Power button working correctly?

You could try booting into Safe mode and see if it works there - if it does then you have some 3rd party application interfering with the feature.

You could also try using the screenshot feature of Assistant. Long-press the home button and select to share a screenshot.

I had the same problem and wound up having to download Touchshot from the store to take screen shots after the May update.
