Workaround for 4.4 Android OS
A bit of a necro-post I know, but I figured I'd just leave this here for the next person with this problem. I successfully found a rather rough work around for the Bluetooth Share issue using my mother's old 4.4 Android OS phone. Out of the blue, her phone started popping the "Unfortunately, your Bluetooth Share has stopped working" alert about every 15 seconds while constantly starting and stopping Bluetooth. After the internet failed to give me a workable solution, I just started playing around with disabling things to see if I could get lucky.
The solution I stumbled upon was to go to Settings--->Apps--->Running--->Bluetooth Share and stop ONLY the GattService process. This breaks Bluetooth in just the right way to end the popups and the start/stop loop. It does not fix Bluetooth and you will not be able to detect and use Bluetooth devices while GattService is stopped, but it works perfectly for people who don't really use Bluetooth and just want the popups to go away. It's not an elegant solution and I have no idea whether/how this works with a modern OS, but there you have it. Hope that helps somebody down the line.
