Uninstalling Emoze Push Mail App

Does anybody know how to uninstall the Emoze Push Mail app? The option to uninstall is grayed out. I've seen several references around the 'net that say the app cannot be uninstalled. That's unacceptable. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?

Is this an app that came on the phone or one you installed? There is a way but you would have to be rooted to do it. Once rooted use Titanium Backup to uninstall.

Emoze Push Mail is a third party app I installed. Is there any way to uninstall it other than rooting?

Have you removed it from Settings>Accounts. If you remove it there the uninstall may highlight so it can be removed. Just a guess.

You may need to remove it as a Device administrator first - go to Settings -> Security -> Device administrators and see if it's listed there. If it is, uncheck that item, then go back and see if you can uninstall it like normal.
