Unlimited Data is back

I think you are correct in saying that the new Verizon CEO will bring about change. He is European and comes from a different perspective. Is anyone familiar with the European wireless players? They must do something differently.

if that's the case, I sure Verizon hires a new CEO from one of the developed Asian countries! :)

Yeah, I just talked to AT&T Retentions as well. They don't give a crap about anyone. Been with them for 15 years, and they said all she can do is give me the unlimited but I have to sign up for directv. I said how is giving me that plan that is already there trying to keep me? She said there isn't anything else she can do. I said, then I will be leaving you guys with 3 lines. Ended that call with that.

Here I come Verizon!

This doesn't surprise me at all. What's sad for them is that they will have to bring back unlimited data without DirecTV and all those customers that left are likely gone for good or at least a long while.

Right now TMO's fanboys suck. They're getting SUPER grumpy in a post because I called out the fact that most of TMO's network is not their network, but third party partners that help their map appear as if they're nearly as big as the other three. They don't read the post, but then respond with a whole bunch of vitriol and trolling. So much fun.
I'm rather amused at a TMO commercial I saw a while back where they tried claim you got a free phone buy paying on it monthly. I'm still trying to figure that one out. XD

Seeking clarification from someone. I went into a Verizon Store today to get information and asked about the Unlimited Plan. They informed me that for a single line it is $80 then another $20 for line access. I was under the impression that for a single line it was $80 which breaks down to $65 + $20 line access and then subtract $5 for autopay.

Was my assumption correct or the employee at the store?

65 + 20 - 5 is correct UNLESS you are using a line currently under contract, then it's 65 + 40 - 5.

Am I being told right on the family plans it's $110 then $20 per phone, if under contract it's $40 til contract ends then drops to $20.
Does this chart image work?

Long story short, the $20 per line is constant, and the cost of data goes from $65 then jumps up until it gets to $100 for the family (at 4 lines) and then it remains at $100 for data and $20 per line until 10 lines. I believe you are correct but I'm mobile and can't see my chart

Call it 85% sure that it's 65, 110, 105, 100, 100.... for data

I am Mobile too so I can't see the chart but I remember seeing it the other day. Thanks for taking the time to do that to help others! :)

I do believe you got the numbers right in the post I am quoting though.

Thanks if we all believe it, even if we're wrong maybe we'll be right

Well I'm mobile and I CAN see the chart.

Problem is, Verizon is making this pretty confusing, so I can't say if the chart is 100% correct.

Oh, we're just assuming that it is from now on. You just gotta believe!

Verizon and confusion is their slogan. I'm still in limbo on the tethering, the reps can't agree on it.

Is the 10 gigs of Hotspot counted against your 22 gigs or is it separate. It's about a tie so far on the answer is yes it is separate or it counts against your 22 gigs.

Let's just say I got a few more grey hairs after discussing this plan with them

At the risk of being too political outside of the politics section, we're just calling the chart an "alternative fact" for now? Hehe

No, this is the real fact and if Verizon disagrees they can screw off. I don't believe in alternative facts, I call those lies.
