Unlimited Data is back

Then 150 not 140 which the chart said.

Just so u know I'm not crazy. Your figures must be correct but they intend to charge me more.

Customer service can be mistaken when you go in. When I went in, they told me it was $80 + $20 line access fee, which has been shown to be incorrect by many people who have signed up. You can go on Verizon's website and go through the process of changing your plan and it should show a comparison of what you have compared to what you would switch to (if you are on Verizon already that is)

I tried it via their app, and it did not show me a comparison. As I worked through the steps, it was only showing me the new UDP pricing info. I backed out because it was starting to look like I would accidentally purchase the new plan, so maybe I didn't go far enough into it. In the past, it would show your existing plan right from the start to compare.

This whole thing is seeming more and more sketchy to me, with them trying to seemingly trick you onto the plans. At the very least, make it hard to compare anything to what you have now for a fully informed decision.

Not being on Verizon myself, yet, I can't tell you for sure how to check the comparison. I know earlier in this thread, someone showed a screenshot of their comparison, so it does show it. Not sure if you have to do it on a computer or if the app shows it though.

I have to wait 2 months to change anyway but it is disturbing that what is presented here as so simple and straightforward is so complex when determined by corporate store representatives. How could my rep possibly be so wrong and why didn't the second rep who joined us point out her obvious error?

Seriously.

The price breakdown has been stated multiple times in this thread.

Single line: $65 (the account access fee) + $20 (the line access fee) - $5 if you do auto-pay.

Multiple line: $110 (the account access fee) + [$20 X number of lines, minimum 2] - $10 if you do auto-pay.

And for existing customers, + $20 per line on contract.

+ whatever insurance you have per line

+ taxes and regulatory fees.

The math is not hard.

Unless you have a tablet, one phone off and one on contract and a home phone adapter. With a corporate Discount on current plan. Since att is allowing Corp Discounts I'm guessing verizon may soon also

Simple. Because it is Verizon. I have received so much inaccurate information from Verizon reps... And also subsequent Verizon reps won't honor what a previous rep said verbally, in my experience. The best way is to get it in writing, though good luck getting a rep to do that.

Exactly and I did and it is wrong.... but if they charge what it says I have no beef.

..of course, try it on desktop.

I might look into it then, Right now I have the 24G plan + 8 free gigs, so 32 Gigs each month spread over 4 people.
Me: 20Gigs
Wife: 6Gigs
Kid1: 3Gigs
Kid2: 3Gigs

If each had 22gigs that would be nice.

You'd have more than 22 GB. It's unlimited. It doesn't throttle unless the tower is experiencing congestion.

We are switching 2 lines to the new plan. Inlaws are combining with us and saving about $50 monthly.

Next month I plan to switch my UDP to the new plan and once I do the savings will be about $110 monthly, not including Inlaws.

I track data use pretty closely. I hate the idea of giving up my UDP but can't justify it if I don't even use 22gb regularly. I have only gone over 20 in one month out of the last 6.

Sounds like a win win for you. $110 per month savings is hard to say no to.

I'm saving the same thing and I have 4 lines under contract, when those come off contract I'll save another $20 per line.

Don't know if this was asked or if I got an answer for it in another thread but has anyone got one or two of these new udp plans and put them on a subaccount to keep them separate from their grandfathered udp lines? Thanks

This is what I know.. You can have a sub account with the new unlimited plans. I had a sub account and they asked if I wanted to leave them on sub accounts or combine them all. I also know they won't let you move the unlimited lines around. I had my main account and a sub account, both had 2 grandfathered unlimited lines and they would not let me move them from one to the other.

So, if your old unlimited lines are all on one account you should be ok to move the tiered lines to the new unlimited and leave the grandfathered unlimited lines where they are at, if they were like mine and some on each account your probably out of luck. Call and ask them. I just know I was told several times I cant move the unlimited lines around, but it is Verizon and getting wrong info is a possibility

I have four subaccount but one (which as a flip phone on it along with a udp)all others have a loyalty plan udp line on each so I'm pretty much screwed

You can leave that one with the unlimited data as a single line and move the flip. You just can't move the unlimited to a different sub account.
