I may "feel" that I'm justified in doing 85mph on the freeway (my car is new and can handle it, the freeway was just resurfaced and is smooth and lacks lots of turns, there is almost no traffic). But guess what, the cop who pulls me over doesn't care about any of that, and will give me a ticket.
So, Sprint writes the rules that govern this user, as long as those are the rules, if they kick him off the network because of it, he has no recourse.
There's more to the comments than these three quotes, but I'm using these to help illustrate why some users feel that tethering large amounts of data when paying for unlimited ? even when an unrestricted tethering feature is not available ? is justifiable.
