Thanks if you do I Haute don't get exactly what rooting. I know how to jailbreak apple devices. I'm just new to android

I figured this would be out by now. They tweeted like 5 hours ago that they were packing it up....oh well guess i'll wait till tomorrow :)

I'm not being a smart alec, but try youtube. I was nervous about rooting at first too (before the update). I watched some guy do it on youtube. It was a 6 minute video, but rooting with unrevoked literally took about 3.5 minutes. The longest parts are waiting for you phone to reboot.

When unrevoked is out again, once you root, download Titanium backup (the paid version, trust me it's worth it) and do a complete backup of all your data and apps (if you're an angry birds player you don't want to have to start the game from scratch again).

Then get ROM manager, I paid for it, but it's up to you depending on if you want customs ROMS. Rom manger is the easiest way for me to reboot into recovery. Make a complete backup of your stock ROM. This way, anything you do after this point, you can always get your phone back to way it is right now. After that, have fun playing :)
