Got 3.1 in the UK this afternoon with no intermediate 3.01. Only one oddity, I can't get the BBC site to open in desktop mode in the stock browser.

got my update I'm all happy now (South Carolina) woo hoo. I've heard that it going by serial numbers so just hang onThank you. I am in SE Alabama and I just saw some folks in FL got it already. Now I can't wait for my new toy
Got mine in Greensboro, NC today. I did the manual check for update step. Haven't really fooled with it yet, but the screen scrolling and web browsing scrolling may have been a bit smoother than before.
Finished downloading and have played around with it for a few minutes.
I have to say I'm very pleased with the performance. Scrolling is much smoother. Websites also seem to load faster, and the lag time with the touchscreen seems to have disappeared.
Video playback on my videos is still not perfectly smooth, but most people probably would not notice the small bit of choppiness when doing slow pans and zoom in.
Speaking of zoom, pinch to zoom in and out also works really smooth.

Browser also added desktop/tablet switching so you don't have to configure it every time... Love the resizing widgets too!
Hi everyone. I had a notice about the update when I woke my tablet up from being asleep. It downloaded fine and then when I answered the prompt to install, it immediately failed and gave a message that said the download was invalid. I rebooted and then went to check for updates and it says my tablet was up to date. Does anyone know how to find the update from memory and run it? Any ideas what may have caused my trouble? My tablet is unrooted and totally stock.
Just got my 3.1 update in Colorado. Got the maintance update Tuesday morning.
Just got the 3.1 in Idaho.. unrooted - installed update - success... rerooted... all working well..
Now to proceed with CWM, new ROM and custom kernel ..
Bako88fan, I had the same issue, but after I rebooted it worked fine. Any success yet?
My tab is stock also and not rooted yet...

Nope. I've rebooted several times, pulled the SD card out tried the stock recovery, nothing. The system update still says that my tablet is up to date so I can't download the update again and retry. Really frustrating.
I updated my tablet to 3.1, but the Market Place is not giving me the third tab for movie rentals. I'm not sure if there's something else I'm supposed to update.
Same here I can get the option to still download and update but no go. I tried almost everything you did and no luck. If your not getting the option to even download there must be a cache you can clear or something to get it to show you still need the update.
I'm thinking of trying to get the file somewhere and dropping it onto my sd card to try that.
Still waiting in AZ :-\ hope it comes soon, I'm way jealous of all of you. Haven't even got the other update yet.
I was hoping it was a cache so to test I backed up to an SD card, pulled it out, did a factory reset and...nothing. I've been happy with this tablet so far. It may be going back to costco.
