a simple request please, if anyone in the midwest USA has not updated yet, could you check what your build number is and post it here please, it can be found in settings-> about tablet, and it should be the last line on the right. thanks in advance

I bought one of these off a guy on craigslist yesterday got home and had an update rite from the jump. I love this tablet!

I was hoping it was a cache so to test I backed up to an SD card, pulled it out, did a factory reset and...nothing. I've been happy with this tablet so far. It may be going back to costco.

found it !!! It is in news on the main page under *acer gets 3.1 update*. the is a link to the manual update. not sure on how to use the file hope it like the nook, copy to root folder and wait

Mine says its updated also now and it isn't. After reading of all the problems with this update I count myself lucky not to get it. The tablet has been working flawless for me so I'm just going to leave well enough alone.

I don't know if I would skip this update. Give it a few days for their servers to have a light load, and give it a try then. It really does make our tablet much smoother.
