First, which task manager are you using???
Second in my use I have found this to happen a lot in phone, but most of the time I let the phone handle it, in other cases I use a secondary task manager to verify.

Since the update, my shutter sound option has disappeared. But I had itbturned off, and it has stayed off, so whatever. GPS works fine. Trouble getting weather info with stock weather app.

I'm using the stock task manager. I rebooted and it's working now. It's saying I have a good 250mb or so left when I have all the apps shut down.

Yeah, that's another way too. A reboot will clean the memory and also cache. Also good to know that its working!!!

The shutter sound option was gone since the previous update(the 2.3.4 one) and I'm also lucky to had turned it off before that update that way it stays off. As for the GPS, looks like its a small amount of phones only.
Edit: I'm not having problems with the weather app, I get all the info of the weather from my location.

I'm having a very weird issue. In the market I do not see all of the applications I have installed. I can tell you I have way more than that.
If anyone knows of anything I can do to fix this please do share.

Try force closing the market from settings/applications/manage application/all(tab) and look for it. If no result, try rebooting the phone.

Not another issue!!!.... Wish I can try to see if this happens to me but I don't I have 4G where I live and I'm far from the only place close that has 4G

Well, since the update my GPS is hosed and now my battery info is hosed as well. I unplugged this morning around 10AM. At 12:30AM tonight it was saying 6 hours since last charge. So I pulled the batter and rebooted and now it says 10hrs 48mins since last charge and how much percentage is left differs with the widget. Widget says 35% and detail with usage graph says around 43%.
I'll report back tomorrow after full charge overnight, but this is the second day with weird results.

Just incase anyone missed what I did...you can uninstall the widgets by doing a factory reset. The update does not save to your phone.

I am also experiencing similar issues (GPS widget, Shutter sound), but I am really annoyed with my mobile network. I live in a 4G area and travel daily outside of this network. Since the latest update, I noticed that my mobile 3G network does not automatically come back online when I leave the 4G area. If I click the HTC Mobile widget, it just blinks and nothing happens. When I open an internet window, I am prompted to "enable mobile network, etc." So, I either have to manually turn on/off mobile network directly from settings or quick settings options, which addresses the issue. The same issue also happens when I am still in the 4G area, but turn it off. Anyone else experience this issue?

Same problem here HTC widget force closes Sense. I haven't investigated the shutter sound, and I don't have 4G in my area, so no input on that one either.
Isn't there a HTC site where you can report bugs/issues?

Hey is anyone experiencing the issue where apps are not installing correctly? I have updated a few apps as well as download a few and i keep on getting an error message of unsuccessful install. I have space on my phone and i do not know why i should be getting this.

The GPS widget seems to be working for me (I never use it - always leave it on). But the mobile network (3g) widget doesn't work for me. Wifi widget works. I can use the quick settings from notification bar or go to settings and enable it there. Not sure what happened after this update (I did hard reset.. no difference)

So I was looking around and found the app for the Sprint corp 4G using App Monster and uninstalled to see if it would fix the issue and did a reboot and everything worked again!!!! The GPS widget and mobile internet widget are working for me!!! Looks like that corp 4g widget was causing problems.... For now everything is working great, no damage happened.
***OF COURSE DO IT AT OWN DISCRETION. I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT HAPPENS. DO NOT BLAME ME IF IT DOESN'T WORK.***
