Rebecca: Hello! Thank you for contacting Seidio Online! How can I help you today?
Customer57: hello when will the Thunderbolt extended case be released? and will it have push power and volume buttons or will it be open for us to use the phone buttons?
Rebecca: We are currently still developing our Extended Cases for the Thunderbolt. We have three cases currently under development, the Surface Extended, Active Extended, and Rugged Extended.
Rebecca: I do not believe the Surface Extended will cover the buttons, instead it would leave them exposed. However, the Active Extended and Rugged Extended have a silicone sleeve that goes over those buttons.
Customer57: do they offer power and volume button features? the reason why I am askin gis because to use the phone power/volume features sometime cause a lot of wear and tear and make the buttons stick
Customer57: thank you :)
Customer57: no release date as yet?
Rebecca: Unfortunately I do not have an ETA.
Customer57: any estimated date available?
Customer57: aww ty
Rebecca: You're welcome.

It really can't be that difficult to offer a silicone case but for some stupid reason they don't. HTC's own website still doesn't list the TB in their accessory store so you can't check there.

I just emailed them, since the last time they told me when it launches they will have accessories up on their HTC Cell Phone Accessories page which they do not as of yet.

When I was at the Verizon store earlier today, I thought that they had a silicone case for the TBolt in stock.
Sales clerk said that I could try it out in the store, once I get my Extended Battery and install it.

Yeah its called a tpu case and exacto knife to cut out the back for extended battery with seidio holster to hold the phone!

Updated Info (Seido Cases) Please Forgive typos ;)

HERE IS A silicone extended battery case for $24.99

Huh, I did that (albeit not quite as neatly) to a $3 silicone case from Ebay, but I'm hoping for something that will also cover the extended battery (and preferrably in TPU). Still waiting to see what Seidio comes up with....

So that silicon case is available now. Should I jump on it or hold off for the seidio options? How much longer do you think it will be?

Seriously?!?!?

$24.99 for something members here have done for $2.00 and 5 minutes of time.

I hope nobody is dumb enough to buy that.
Omg, I looked at that case and thought exactly what you wrote. That is a do it at home case! Shame on them.
