Update: Received! - Still no advance notice e-mail from Verizon

Just got an email from Verizon! Oh wait, it's just the notice that my bill is ready to view........:'( See, VZW can send some emails out no problem.

Would it be improper if, should I get the phone before I get a notification e-mail from Verizon that it's out, to file a complaint since the signup page on their "Thunder Tracker" page (Verizon Wireless) clearly states: "Enter your e-mail address and know before it hits."

Of course, I'll wait until I get the phone first. Have to have the phone.

I've ordered the phone, received two emails about that order confirmation and already see the money deducted from my bank account. STILL NO EMAIL!

Update: Have Thunderbolt, have e-mail(s) telling me I spent money -- read them ON the Thunderbolt. No e-mail notifying me it's available.

Put it up on kickstand with the charging cable plugged in, but snagged the cable with my office chair and it fell over and "hit" my hand.

So, I've been hit by the HTC Thunderbolt -- literally. No e-mail to "know before it hits".
