**UPDATED** I emailed ALL of these vzw exec's. Will you?

You should be happy that you got your upgrade pushed up. No denying that.

Then you should be sad when you realize the Galaxy SIII won't be on Verizon and you passed on the best phone that will be out for quite some time (the Nexus).

Verizon giveth and they taketh away.

what he should have done, and everyone here that is upset, is wait till their contract is up, then leave. if enough people do it then WE have the power.

what would happen if everyone in the world just STOPPED paying their morgage? you think banks could do anything? we have the power in most cases we are just too scared to leverage it.

And give up unlimited LTE? No thanks. Other carriers can't offer me what VZW can as far as coverage and speed.

Meh

I'm getting the nexus at full retail, always been the plan. There is no debating this. I wanted to get both. Now I can. I was always gonna get the nexus. Sorry if I inferred anything else.

Well, technically speaking we'd all default and they'd have the legal right to foreclose on all of everyone's homes. Sure, it would be an odd scenario, but yeah, the banks could do something.

Well as long as you're looking to buy a Nexus, all is well. I honestly believe if everyone who uses an Android phone was informed of the differences and understood just how much better they are, the Nexus would be the iPhone of the Android world (it kind of already is in some ways) and be the best selling phone.

true, but try and take legal action on millions if not billions of people? regardless, denying Verizon our money in mass is the only way to get them to do what we want, and they have to.

They wouldn't. They would confiscate the home and sell it to someone else. Poor argument.

lmao unlimited LTE.... unless you stream pron on a 24/7 basis or torrent movies through your phone i can tell you with almost 100% certainty you dont go over 5GB a month.

I would, what else are we supposed to do while waiting for this phone? Lol. I was very polite and respectful to them but I told them that I was very upset and frustrated as well. I asked them this question: "How long am I supposed to wait without being told any information whatsoever? How long would you suggest?" I asked her. Then she told me "I don't know." The I told her "So you see my point now and why I'm frustrated?" And she said "Yes I do." That's when she asked me my info and pulled up my account. What did your initial email say?

Meh

I went with what you mentioned in your 1st posting in my e... although I did say that I'm considering going to Sprint. I have 2 phones on my family plan I can upgrade now, but I want the Nexus. Sprint has the Galaxy S II, it looks like a good phone.

I have a Fascinate with CM7, this is the first time I've seen a phone that interests me in upgrading. My main complaint is Verizon is a very large company. It seems like if Barnes and Noble can announce a new device on Nov 7th with a Nov 18th availability, then ship it out a day early, Verizon could make sure their devices are ready to go before all the announcements are made.

It seems like the holdup is the Verizon software added to the device, isn't that what all the testing is about? I mentioned that in the e and on the phone. I didn't say much he just kind of rambled about Verizon having no control over the manufacturer. He kept saying it wasn't released yet but when I mentioned software testing he agreed that Verizon is testing the software. He said we wouldn't want them shipping out defective devices! I said well since they have been released in foreign countries they must not be defective!

Verizon is taking a perfectly good device and making it defective sounds like huh ;-P

With EVERYONE in the world doing it.... no they most certainly wouldnt and couldn't keep track i assure you.

Edit: with the hundreds of thousands that have already forclosed right now, they cant even evict people. I know people that are living in their house still that have forclosed and havent paid rent in 3 YEARS and are waiting to be evicted while saving. imagine if everyone did it.

Back on topic: enjoy your SGSIII next 4th Quarter

No offense, but if you think that everyone that is here that is upset about the Nexus release numbers any more than a few thousand, your head is in the clouds. Eve gone upset about the Nexus timeframe could close their contracts tomorrow and Verizon would barely notice, and it certainly wouldn't hurt them.

Yeah, I'm just saying, if everyone's going to default on their mortgage, there would be consequences. It's not analogous to everyone refusing to engage in contracts with VZW.

The whole point of it is for torrents. And I like HD quality torrents as well.

its more efficient to just download them to a stationary computer, then just splashtop desktop, aka (RDC), to the computer to manage the downloads. Then, whenever you get home just quickly transfer them. it drains the phone battery and you run into the issue of bad downloads if you are constantly changing towers (driving/train/bus/etc).

To each his own i guess.

That's why I stick with sites for my downloads. Much easier, MUCH faster, and no programs needed

No, I just tether my signal when I'm at home. LTE is actually faster than my home internet, lol
